Ronique Bastian has worked in the Financial Services industry for 15 years. She is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Finance and Spanish. Ronique has also studied in Mexico, which has given her a keen interest in servicing clients in the Latin American market.
She is a certified Trust and Estate Practitioner and currently sits on the STEP Bahamas Board of Directors. Ronique is also a member of the Trust and Fiduciary Services team at Butterfield Trust (Bahamas) Limited..
Shivron has over 5 years of experience in offshore banking and a deep understanding and wider market view on the compliance processes, risk mitigation and internal control systems, trust, compliance & quality assurance framework, and internal audit. He holds a Bachelors of Laws degree from UWI, a Master of Laws degree in Banking & Finance law from the University of London, a Certificate of Legal Education from Eugene Dupuch Law School, and a Diploma in International Trust Management from STEP.
Shivron also holds a certificate in Project Management for Development from the Inter-American Development Bank. He was a Vice President of WM Tax Operations at JP Morgan and founder of the Regulatory Reporting team. Shivron also recently successfully completed the ACAMS course.
Chrislyn Stubbs has over 18 years experience working in the financial services arena, providing a high calibre of service to clients and professionals globally. She has a diverse background in areas including trading, investments, fiduciary, pensions, compliance and new business development, focused on the HNWI and UHNWI segments and she has worked in London, UK and Geneva, Switzerland. Ms. Stubbs earned an Associates of Arts in Law & Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s Law degree, LLB (Hons) in International Commercial Law. She was featured as a Millennial Delegate at the 20th STEP Anniversary Caribbean Conference 2019 and was a recipient of the Bahamas’ 40 under 40 Award in 2019.

Anastacia Hepburn is an attorney currently working at a Private Bank, specializing in Financial Services law and regulation, Fiduciary Services and Corporate Governance. Anastacia has sat on private and public boards where she has assisted with providing guidance and oversight to the boards.
Anastacia is a proud alumna of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus where she received both a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) and Master of Laws (Corporate and Commercial). Anastacia is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and holds a STEP Diploma in International Trust Management.

Taryn Gordon, TEP is a financial services professional who is currently employed at FirstCaribbean International Trust Company (Bahamas) Limited as a Trust Administrator. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Business and Finance from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a Series 7 license from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”). Mrs. Gordon currently serves as a Director on the Board of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (“STEP”) Bahamas Branch. She became a full member of STEP on March 10, 2015. She was a Bahamas Financial Services Board, Achiever of the Year Nominee in 2018. In her free time, she likes to read, travel and exercise.
George T. Carey is an Attorney-at-Law, a Notary Public, and he was admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas on October 27th, 2006. He is the Managing Partner of Oasis Law Chambers, and provides consultancy services in compliance, anti-money laundering, common reporting standards (‘CRS’), foreign accounts tax compliance act (‘FATCA’), etc. Mr. Carey is also a Trust and Estate Practitioner, and formerly a Vice Presidents of a leading offshore bank in The Bahamas.
Mr. Carey is currently the Chairman of the Public Disclosure Commission of The Bahamas, and a Director of the Water and Sewage Corporation of The Bahamas. He was awarded by Professional Services Bahamas Ltd. (PSB) as one of the Bahamas’ Most successful and Influential Professionals under 40 in 2017 (40 under 40).
Samantha Symonette, TEP is a Senior Trust Professional, previously she worked for organizations such as BNP Paribas Bahamas, RBC Trust Cayman, Butterfield Trust Bermuda and Bahamas.
Presently, she is serving as Vice-Chair and Alternative Regional Representative and of STEP Bahamas branch.
Erin M. Hill, TEP is a Senior Associate at McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes, one of the oldest and largest law firms in The Bahamas, working in the Trust & Private Client, Dispute Resolution and Labour & Employment Practice Groups. Erin was called to the Bar of England and Wales and The Bahamas Bar in 2015 and received her LL.M in 2016. During Erin’s work at McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes, she often advises high-net-worth individuals and families on the formation and variation of trust structures and is also instructed to act in litigious trust disputes.
Anayah is a young professional who is privileged to be a part of a dynamic team of trust & estate professionals at JP Morgan Trust Company (Bahamas) Limited for nearly a decade. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration degree, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in International Business and Hospitality Management, both obtained from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. Aside from her career within the offshore banking sector, Anayah is passionate about personal financial literacy and design; both graphic and interior. She successfully completed the financial planning certification program with New York University, and she is certified in Adobe Photoshop. Anayah has served on the STEP Bahamas Board for the past 2 consecutive years, and currently serves as Branch Treasurer.
Alexandria is Trust Professional currently employed at J..P. Trust Company (Bahamas) with 6 years of trust experience. She also has experience in corporate management. Alex is a travel enthusiast and has a passion for the art of dance.

Mrs. Anita Bain is the Chief Examiner at The Central Bank of The Bahamas, where she leads the Onsite Examination Unit within the Bank Supervision Department. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and The Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA). In addition, she is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and a Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP).
Anita has worked in the financial services sector for over 25 years holding directorships and senior management positions in the international banks and trust sector at several institutions.
C. Dianne Bingham, a trust practitioner of more than forty years has served in senior roles of various international trust companies, leading in the establishment and licensing of a fully owned and operated Bahamian trust company.
She is the recipient of the Bahamas Financial Services Professional of the Year and STEP’s prestigious Founders awards.
